Flock continues to push the boundaries of decentralized AI, and they have some exciting updates to share! From new platform features to community events, here’s what’s happening at Flock.

Flock’s New AI Co-Creation Platform is Now LIVE! 🔥

Flock has officially launched their new AI Co-Creation platform, empowering users to build, co-create, and interact with powerful AI models while maintaining full control of their data. This marks a significant milestone in their mission to democratize AI and provide users with unparalleled access to cutting-edge tools.

Alongside this launch, they are excited to introduce Flock Chat. This feature allows users to chat directly with models like Scroll_ZKP and Berachain GPT. Flock Chat creates new opportunities for real-time interaction and engagement with decentralized AI models.

AI Arena is Getting an Upgrade

Flock’s AI Arena, a decentralized AI training platform, is set for an upgrade. Through train.flock.io, participants can stake Flock’s testnet token, $FML, on Sepolia Base to earn rewards.

Participants in AI Arena include:

- Training Nodes: Develop or fine-tune models
- Validators: Evaluate models
- Delegators: Delegate tokens to validators or training nodes, boosting reward distribution

The Role of Delegators

Delegators play a key role in AI Arena by staking their $FML tokens to support validators and training nodes. In return, they share in the rewards based on their staked amount, providing incentives for high-quality contributions. Delegators are an essential part of Flock’s ecosystem, as their support drives decentralization and enhances the platform’s efficiency.

By delegating, they contribute to the success of the ecosystem without needing technical expertise, making it easy for anyone to participate and earn rewards.

The Importance of the $FML Token

The $FML token is central to the AI Arena’s ecosystem, used for staking and reward distribution. Key features of the token include:

- Emission: Tokens are distributed through initial emissions and rewards.
- Burn: Unsuccessful rewards and fees are burned to control supply.
- Slash: Malicious activities lead to slashing, with slashed tokens either burned or redistributed.

Delegators are critical to maintaining the health and efficiency of Flock’s ecosystem, helping to ensure a fair and thriving platform.

Looking Ahead

Flock is looking forward to battle-testing their Delegator Function during testnet, encouraging everyone to participate. However, they note that this feature may not be available in some regions due to local regulations. Keep an eye out for more updates!

Live Events: Tonight in NYC! 🥳

Flock is bringing their community together in real life with a party at MessariCrypto #Mainnet2024 in collaboration with OpenLayerHQ.

If you’re in NYC, don’t miss out on this opportunity to unwind, network, and debate the future of decentralized AI!
